RCG Ventures (Fund III) Acquires Three Properties in Alabama and Missouri

Hillcrest Plaza | St. Joseph, MO

Hillcrest Plaza, a 118,763 SF shopping center, was acquired on April 20th, 2016 and is located along North Belt Highway, one of the most recognized commercial corridors in the city. The Center is anchored by Office Depot, Jo-Ann Fabrics, and MC Sports. Adjacent to the Center is the East Hills Mall anchored by JCPenney, Dillard’s, Sears, and Gordmans. In addition, the Center is in close proximity to other national retailers and Missouri Western State University. The Seller was represented by Drew Quinn of Colliers and RCG was represented in-house by Jeff Miller.

Rite-Aid Shopping Center (21,000 SF), acquired on February 18, 2016, is positioned at a signalized intersection along the highly traveled Cottage Hill Road in Mobile, Alabama.  The Center is located across from Walmart Neighborhood Market and Publix Supermarket, and is approximately 4 miles east of Interstate 65, one of the main highways serving the region. The Seller was represented by Jason Schwartz of Syndicated Equities and RCG was represented in-house by Scott Tarbet.

On June 3, 2016, RCG acquired an additional anchor space in the already owned Madison Plaza Shopping Center.  The Center is strategically positioned just 5 miles from downtown Huntsville at the intersection of Old Monrovia Road and University Drive across from Madison Square Mall. The Mall is being re-developed into Bridge Street Town Centre, a major mixed-use lifestyle community with over 70 upscale shops and full-service restaurants.  The seller was represented by David Neuman of Urban Retail and RCG was represented in-house by Scott Tarbet.
