RCG Announces Fund IV Closing and Acquisitions in Mississippi, Florida, and Michigan

RCG Closes on Fund IV
On April 15, 2016 RCG Ventures closed of its fourth value-add real estate fund. RCG Ventures Fund IV projects to invest over $250 million in value-add shopping centers throughout the United States over the next 18-24 months.
Best Buy Park, a 38,132 SF shopping center, is located along US Highway 49 (43,600 vehicles daily).  Highway 49 is one of Gulfport’s main retail corridors and a major north/south artery, intersecting with Interstate 10 a half mile south of the property. Directly across from Best Buy Park is Crossroads Shopping Center which is home to a wide array of national retailers including T.J.Maxx, Ross, Belk, Office Depot, Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Cinemark Movie Theater. The Seller was represented by Dominic Sulo of Marcus and Millichap and RCG was represented in-house by Scott Tarbet.

The 38,364 SF Orlando Retail Center is ideally positioned on I-Drive, the most recognized retail, tourism, and entertainment district in Orlando.  The nearly 5 acre property contains frontage on both I-Drive (47,000 VPD) and Interstate 4 (184,000 VPD). The Center is in close proximity to many of Orlando’s famous attractions including Universal Studios (1.5 miles), Seaworld Orlando (4.8 miles), Walt Disney World (8 miles), and Epcot Center (12 miles). Other national retailers in the area include Walmart Supercenter, Publix, Whole Foods, T.J.Maxx, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Ross. The Seller was represented by Calvin Short of Matthews Retail and RCG was represented in-house by Scott Tarbet.

Lakeshore Marketplace is a 342,991 SF shopping center located in the heart of the Muskegon-Norton Shores retail trade area. The center is shadow-anchored by a high performing Target and situated directly northwest of The Lakes Mall which is anchored by Younkers, Dick’s Sporting Goods, JCPenney, Sears, and Bed Bath & Beyond. In addition, the center is in close proximity to a variety of other national tenants including Meijer, Menards, Party City, Best Buy, and Jo-Ann Fabrics.  The Seller was represented by John May and Chris LaBounty of May Real Estate and RCG was represented in-house by Jeff Miller.
